We need to talk about Amazon Ring in Windsor.

Windsor’s Mayor proposes we be the first city in Canada to buy into the Ring Network. What would that mean, for citizens? Are systems like Amazon Ring actually a path to a safer Windsor?

Join us for a timely conversation about surveillance and safety in a ‘smart tech’ world.

WHERE: The Performance Hall at the University of Windsor’s School of Creative Arts Windsor Armories Building
WHAT: A panel exploring the legal, public policy, criminology, and digital technology issues raised by Ring
WHO: The panel will feature Chris Gilliard – heard recently on CBC’s Spark – as well as Kristen Thomasen and Mita Williams.

The Windsor Law Centre for Cities is a supporter of this event.
