About

CUI is Canada’s Urban Institute and a national platform for Canadian city-building. Comprised of policymakers, urban professionals, civic and business leaders, community activists and academics, CUI’s mission is to build wisdom and inspire leadership for healthy urban development through research, education and storytelling.

CUI x Windsor was the latest in the CUI x Local listening tour of Canadian cities. The Centre for Cities (C4C) was the lead local partner for CUIxWindsor. From 15-17 June 2021, CUI listened to and learned from local stakeholders on their most pressing challenges, and surfacing examples of innovative and locally-driven solutions. The goal is to help deepen understanding of the interconnected and interdependent issues facing urban centres in Canada.
