Windsor’s political leaders need to step up their efforts to prepare for the arrival of Syrian refugees, according to University of Windsor law professor Anneke Smit.
Many other Canadian cities have spearheaded the coordination of support services in order to prepare for the 25,000 refugees arriving in the coming months, while Windsor has been relatively quiet, Smit told Windsor Morning on Wednesday.
