Session 2: Non-Market Housing Solutions – CLTs, Co-ops, and CHCs

Session 2: Non-Market Housing Solutions – CLTs, Co-ops, and CHCs

Many housing advocates are looking outside of the traditional market to address the unaffordable housing crisis. Demand is high for fixed, safe and permanent housing that would not be at risk of being sold, flipped, or prices inflated. Two such solutions are community land trusts and co-op.  This session will dig into these and how they contribute to a systems approach to addressing housing affordability, and compare and contrast them with community housing.
