Bortolin has been the Ward 3 City Councilor in the City of Windsor since 2014, representing the Downtown core. Author, panelist, former business owner of multiple restaurants in the Windsor area, Rino is the current Chair of Development & Heritage Standing Committee, Chair of the Windsor Public Library Board, Chair of the Property Standards Committee and is a member of both the Windsor Police Services Board, and the executive of the Windsor Essex County Health Unit acting as Vice Chair. Rino advocates for equity, transparency, strategic city building, and citizen voice.
