Windsor-Essex home builders welcome lower development charges — but others skeptical
Norbert Bolger, chair of the Windsor-Essex Home Builders’ Association, says it’s soon going to cost less to build a new home. But Anneke Smit at the University of Windsor and Windsor’s Ward 9 Councillor Kieran McKenzie aren’t convinced lower development charges will lead to better housing affordability.
